Job Description

The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory tests, including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, and field tests, to meet applicable construction standards.

A summary of the role’s responsibilities is as follows:

Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.
Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
Proficient in data entry.
Compiling and inputting testing results.
Preparation and maintenance of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
