Job Description

• This role requires strict adherence to Wikipedia’s policies on Neutral Point of View (NPOV), Verifiability, and Conflict of Interest (COI). You will act as a Wiki-Liaison, ensuring accurate, neutral, and well-sourced representation of the company and its innovations in the public knowledge base.
• We are looking for a detail-oriented and ethically driven Wikipedia Content Writer & Editor to manage the creation and maintenance of Wikipedia articles for our Vertical SaaS companies and technologies in the highly regulated sectors of Fintech, Banktech, Insurtech, Lawtech, and Medtech.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update existing articles to reflect new developments while preserving encyclopedic tone.
• Research, draft, and submit high-quality Wikipedia articles in Sandbox/Draft space using the Articles for Creation (AfC) process.
• Monitor and protect published articles from vandalism, bias, or inaccuracies.
• Assess notability of companies, products, and innovations based on Wikipedia’s General Notability Guideline (GNG) using independent, reliable sources.
• Manage Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosures and engage diplomatically with the Wikipedia editor community.
• Curate strong, independent citations from reputable sources (e.g., Bloomberg, TechCrunch, SEC filings, peer-reviewed journals).

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to write in a neutral, encyclopedic tone and remove all marketing language.
• Strong technical understanding of vertical SaaS industries (e.g., Open Banking, insurance underwriting models, HIPAA compliance, regulatory frameworks).
• Excellent research and source evaluation skills.
• Diplomatic communication skills for collaborating with independent Wikipedia editors.
• High attention to accuracy, ethics, and compliance with Wikipedia guidelines.
