We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Media Strategist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized and innovative solutions for clients while defining strategies that drive business growth and increase company revenue.
  • Establish and maintain high-level client relationships while ensuring adherence to defined sales processes.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and customer experience.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, including analysis of industry trends, consumer behavior, technological advancements, and competitor activities.
  • Design and implement comprehensive, data-driven media strategies that align with client objectives and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Oversee media planning, buying, and placement to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively within budget and performance targets.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to sales and media teams to ensure targets are achieved and performance is optimized.
  • Stay updated on emerging media trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively introduce innovative ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify client needs and provide data-driven, innovative solutions that improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategic business plans tailored to client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop internal strategies and processes to strengthen market presence, expand market share, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to support seamless campaign execution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and optimizing media campaigns across various traditional and digital channels.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in media strategy, media planning, or related roles within the advertising or marketing industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate strategic recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in utilizing media planning and buying tools and platforms (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, Google Ads, programmatic DSPs).
  • Solid understanding of SEO and SEM best practices, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong experience with social media management and advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Extensive experience in digital media, traditional media (TV, radio, print, OOH), and programmatic advertising.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging media trends and technologies, including AI, AR/VR, and interactive media.
  • Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Data Studio, or similar platforms.
