Job Title: Spare Weighbridge Officer

Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Manage traffic flow, issue weight tickets, and report discrepancies or safety issues.
• The person also generates reports and ensures compliance with site rules and safety standards.
• The weight bridge officer operates and maintains the weighbridge, accurately weighing trucks and recording data for inventory and logistics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Traffic Management: Direct drivers position vehicles correctly and manage site traffic flow.
• Weight Recording:-Accurately Weigh vehicles (gross, tare, and net weight) and document data in software systems.
• Documentation: Issue weight tickets, verify waybills, and process delivery orders.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure loads comply with legal limits, report discrepancies, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Shall hold the Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Social Science or Engineering related courses.
• Any relevant professional certification is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft words.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experiences in weighbridge management in a manufacturing industry.
