We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Contract Specialist - SC Logistics

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Manage end-to-end (E2E) contracting process for minor and major contracts within Logistics (Marine and Waste Management).

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support for bid evaluation
  • Data management and analysis for use in developing negotiation strategy for negotiation when applicable in putting a contract in place and proper documentation of contract release requirements in company document repository.
  • Managing communication management plan for tendering process (managing engagement with JV partners and regulators)
  • Providing support for managing the e-procurement process (NiPEX)
  • Pre-award contract documentation (Part A, Part B, Red-thread documentation, Award close out template) including review of business needs.

Drive team performance management:

  • Organization of cadence meetings to track delivery and highlight performance gaps for prompt intervention.
  • Development of team performance monitoring matrix
  • Monitoring delivery via use of MS tools (Excel)

Performance Management:

  • Developed and implemented a team performance monitoring matrix.
  • Delivered measurable team savings through EnhanceX.
  • Organized cadence meetings to monitor progress and address performance gaps proactively.
  • Tracked delivery using tools such as Contrack and PACM.
  • Responsible for SC Planning activities. Work together with the SC Planning Team to ensure all planned activities in SC especially when there is a planned Audit etc

Post award contract management:

  • Management of BPRs, ensuring HSSE plans, and contract plans are in place etc
  • Management of contract variation process.
  • Contract close out at the end of life of contracts
  • Management of the contract release process to ensure compliance

Qualifications / Experience

  • Required Skills:
  • Business or Engineering degree
  • Data analysis
  • Relevant supply chain contracting experience
  • Contract management
  • Procurement systems (NiPEX)
  • Stakeholder engagement
