Our store offers freshly made juices, smoothies, Greek yogurt, parfaits, healthy snacks, and other wholesome refreshments. Job Title: Store Assistant

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Store Assistant will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving fresh beverages and healthy food items, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, processing customer transactions, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about health, wellness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Monitor freshness of ingredients and report low stock or expired items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, preparation areas, equipment, and customer seating.
  • Ensure product displays remain attractive and well-organized.
  • Welcome customers warmly and provide a friendly shopping experience.
  • Participate in opening and closing store procedures.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Answer questions about ingredients, nutritional benefits, and menu options.
  • Monitor stock levels of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, granola, toppings, packaging materials, and other supplies.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety during preparation.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
  • Restock shelves, refrigerators, and display units throughout the day.
  • Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, Greek yogurt, parfaits, and healthy snacks according to standard recipes.
  • Process customer orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Receive cash, card, and other payment methods while balancing the cash register.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and properly maintained after use.
  • Report shortages, damages, or wastage promptly.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Previous experience preparing beverages or food products is desirable but not mandatory.
  • 1–2 years' experience in retail, food service, hospitality, café, smoothie bar, restaurant, or wellness store is an advantage.
