Job Title: Hotel Supervisor and Resort Supervisor

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hotel Supervisor and Resort Supervisorto oversee the daily operations of a hotel in Abuja.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, supervise staff, maintain operational standards, and support the hotel's profitability through effective leadership and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure facilities are well maintained.
  • Enforce hotel policies, health and safety standards, and service quality procedures.
  • Maintain occupancy records, daily reports, and operational documentation.
  • Handle emergencies and make sound operational decisions when required.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of operational supplies.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Supervise the hotel's day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor room readiness, cleanliness, and overall hotel presentation.
  • Lead, schedule, and manage front office, housekeeping, and other operational staff.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve guest complaints.
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes when necessary.
  • Assist management in implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience working in a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment is an advantage.
  • 2–5 years' experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software/PMS.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
