We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Station Cashier

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Station Cashier for our Onitsha station who will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining accurate sales records, reconciling daily transactions, and ensuring efficient cash management at the station.
  • The role also involves delivering excellent customer service while complying with the company’s operational and financial procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Cash Handling & Financial Transactions:

  • Balance cash collections and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain proper accountability of cash received during each shift.
  • Receive and process payments for fuel, lubricants, and other station products through cash, POS, and bank transfers.
  • Issue receipts and ensure accurate billing for all transactions.

Sales Recording & Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile fuel sales, cash, POS receipts, and transfers daily.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales and reconciliation reports to management.
  • Report shortages, overages, or suspicious transactions immediately.
  • Accurately record daily sales transactions.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure customers are attended to promptly to maintain efficient service delivery.
  • Address customer inquiries and escalate complaints where necessary.
  • Attend to customers professionally and courteously.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail/service environment is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of HND, BSc.
