We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media and Content Creator

Role Overview

  • This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and visual artistry, ideal for someone with a naturally creative eye and a genuine love of fashion.
  • The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will be the creative voice and digital ambassador of Austine Mali Clothing.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, producing compelling content, and growing our online presence across all relevant platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Schedule, post, and manage daily content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals and marketing plans.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, algorithms, and new digital tools.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content for engagement and growth.
  • Maintain monthly content calendars featuring new arrivals, brand stories, stockist updates, and event promotions.

Content Creation, Design & Studio Production:

  • Design branded social media graphics, templates, and visual assets (feed posts, stories, carousels, highlight covers, etc.).
  • Produce high-quality studio content during twice-weekly sessions.
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit original photo and video content.
  • Create posts celebrating national holidays and notable events in Nigeria and the UK.
  • Create premium product images for e-commerce while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with models, photographers, stylists, and the creative team.
  • Repurpose content for reels, TikToks, ads, and web usage.

Email Marketing:

  • Build and maintain visually engaging, on-brand email templates.
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, product launch announcements, and promotional sends.
  • Track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and refine campaigns accordingly.
  • Manage subscriber lists and segment campaigns for targeted, effective messaging.

Pinterest & Visual Discovery Platforms:

  • Explore and manage other visual/discovery platforms as relevant to brand growth.
  • Optimize pins and boards for discoverability and traffic generation.
  • Create and maintain curated Pinterest boards showcasing collections, lookbooks, and brand aesthetics.

Website & Digital Traffic Growth:

  • Align social media, design, and email marketing activities with e-commerce and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Develop content strategies to drive traffic to the brand website and improve conversions.
  • Use analytics to refine digital strategies.
  • Produce content educating customers about stockists, new collections, and events.

Fashion Trend Research & Brand Development:

  • Study competitors and influencers for creative inspiration.
  • Stay updated on global and local fashion trends and cultural conversations.
  • Incorporate trend insights into visual storytelling and design.

On-Ground Brand Representation & Event Coverage:

  • Visit stockists to create engaging in-store and customer-experience content.
  • Support editorial shoots, lookbooks, and collection campaigns.
  • Represent the brand professionally at events and collaborations.
  • Attend events, pop-ups, exhibitions, and fashion shows to capture live visuals.

Community Engagement & Influencer Relations

  • Build a strong, loyal online community through active engagement.
  • Identify and partner with influencers and brand ambassadors who fit the brand ethos.

Reporting & Optimization:

  • Prepare detailed monthly reports on engagement, reach, email performance, and conversions.
  • Use data insights to guide creative decisions and marketing improvements.
  • Provide recommendations directly to the Creative Director.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A naturally creative eye with a genuine flair for and love of fashion.
  • A strong, demonstrable portfolio showcasing photography, video production, graphic design, and/or email marketing work.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom), Canva, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar).
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with an excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of fashion, aesthetics, and visual trends.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, Pinterest, and scheduling tools.
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and driving meaningful engagement.

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 per month.
