Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will manage the organization's digital presence across multiple social media platforms, create compelling content, grow online communities, protect the brand's reputation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • We are seeking a highly creative, result-driven, and experiencedSocial & Digital Media Marketing Officer to develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, generate qualified business leads, and support the growth of our financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Create quarterly digital marketing plans to promote Savings, SME Loans, Fixed Deposits, Digital Banking, and other financial products.
  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars across all digital platforms.
  • Develop and implement social media and digital marketing strategies aligned with the Bank's business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging digital marketing trends.

Content Development & Brand Management:

  • Ensure consistency of the Bank's brand identity, messaging, tone, and visual standards across all digital channels.
  • Optimize content using SEO best practices, hashtags, keywords, and accessibility standards.
  • Develop compelling copy that educates, informs, and converts prospective customers.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content including graphics, videos, reels, carousels, blogs, and live sessions.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage the Bank's presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, WhatsApp Business, and other relevant platforms.
  • Grow online communities through meaningful engagement and relationship management.
  • Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and customer enquiries while ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation where necessary.

Lead Generation & Business Growth:

  • Develop digital campaigns that generate quality leads for Savings Accounts, SME Loans, Fixed Deposits, Digital Banking solutions, and other products.
  • Work closely with Retail Banking, Sales, and Customer Service teams to convert digital leads into customers.
  • Track campaign performance using UTM parameters, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and social media analytics.
  • Monitor customer acquisition funnels from social media to account opening.

Digital Advertising:

  • Manage advertising budgets efficiently to maximize conversions.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, X, Google, and other digital platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve campaign effectiveness and return on investment.

Brand Reputation & Risk Management:

  • Publish customer awareness and fraud prevention campaigns.
  • Identify fake accounts, impersonation pages, scams, and reputational risks while coordinating prompt corrective actions.
  • Monitor online conversations relating to the Bank.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Support employer branding initiatives and corporate communication campaigns.
  • Coordinate digital coverage for events, CSR initiatives, product launches, and public relations activities.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail Banking, Digital Banking, Corporate Communications, Customer Service, Compliance, Sustainability, and Human Resources teams.

Performance Reporting:

  • Measure campaign effectiveness using relevant digital marketing metrics.
  • Recommend continuous improvements based on analytics and market trends.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be measured using, but not limited to:

  • Compliance with brand, regulatory, and governance standards
  • Growth in followers and online community across all platforms
  • Timely execution of approved content calendar
  • Customer acquisition and account openings from digital campaigns
  • Brand sentiment and online reputation
  • Average response and resolution time for customer enquiries
  • Click-through rate (CTR) and campaign conversion rates
  • Reach, impressions, engagement rate, shares, and video views
  • Campaign ROI and digital advertising performance
  • Number of qualified leads generated
  • Website traffic generated from social media

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional certifications in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or any related discipline.
  • 4–6 years' experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing within the banking, financial services, fintech, or consumer goods sector.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of financial services marketing and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media management.
  • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Excellent content writing, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and social media advertising.
