Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of projects within a 4-star hospitality environment.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive operational excellence from project initiation through completion.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while effectively managing stakeholders, resources, risks, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on agreed action plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending innovative solutions and best practices for project delivery.
  • Manage procurement activities by ensuring timely sourcing of project materials, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor project expenditure and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of assigned projects in line with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve project challenges promptly while maintaining project objectives and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and financial management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • 5 - 8 years’ proven experience managing construction, infrastructure, or hospitality projects.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Asana, Trello, or similar tools.
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
