We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Assistant

Job Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team in sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for required materials and services
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
  • Follow up with vendors on order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies
  • Support vendor evaluation and maintain good supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approval processes
  • Assist in inventory tracking and stock level monitoring (where applicable)
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team

Requirements

  • ND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 1 year of experience in procurement or administrative support role
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
