Job Summary

• We are seeking a Process & Control Systems Engineer to support FPSO, onshore, and offshore wellhead platforms within the oil and gas sector.
• This role involves managing control systems transitions, overseeing process safety dossier handovers, and familiarizing with SCADA, ESD, and F&G systems. The engineer will also be responsible for reviewing loop documentation to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Candidates can expect to work in a dynamic environment focused on enhancing operational safety and efficiency.
• This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects in a key oil and gas hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Support FPSO, onshore, and offshore wellhead platform operations to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Conduct thorough reviews of loop documentation to verify system integrity and functionality.
• Manage control systems transition activities, ensuring seamless integration and minimal operational disruption.
• Facilitate familiarization and training on SCADA, ESD, and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems for operational teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support continuous improvement initiatives within control and safety systems.
• Oversee the handover of process safety dossiers, maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in control systems transition and process safety dossier management
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems, including system familiarization and operational support
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting FPSO, onshore, and offshore wellhead platform operations within the oil and gas industry
• Experience in reviewing and validating loop documentation and control system schematics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in or supporting operations based in Lagos or similar offshore environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and industry best practices for offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities
• Certifications related to process safety management or control systems engineering
