We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Junior Finance Officer Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, experience with accounting software (especially QuickBooks), and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries Record daily transactions, including income and expenses Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Manage accounts payable and receivable Assist with budgeting and financial planning Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies Support audits and provide necessary documentation Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Relevant degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field Prior experience in a similar role Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance-related role Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Additional Information: Preference may be given to female candidates.
