Job Brief
- This role combines Information Technology support with a strong emphasis on Graphics and Digital Content Creation
- The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the firm’s IT infrastructure by overseeing the operation, security, and continuous improvement of the firm’s IT systems, including hardware, networks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
Graphics Design & Digital Content:
- Design graphics for website pages and landing pages.
- Maintain and enforce the firm’s visual identity across all internal and external materials.
- Design templates for proposals, reports, pitch decks, legal publications, and client-facing materials.
- Ensure consistency in fonts, colours, layouts, and brand messaging.
- Design flyers, banners, brochures, event materials, newsletters, and social media graphics.
Information Technology Management:
- IT Infrastructure & Hardware
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, CCTV, intercoms, and office devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues promptly.
- Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle.
Data Management & Backup:
- Implement and monitor regular data backup systems
- Manage file storage and organization
- Support data recovery processes when required
Network & Internet Management:
- Manage LAN/Wi-Fi systems, routers, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Liaise with service providers to ensure stable performance.
- Implement secure remote access solutions where required.
Cloud Systems Administration:
- Manage Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 user accounts.
- Maintain shared drives, email systems, permissions, and backups.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Support migration and integration of cloud services
- Enforce password policies, MFA, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities.
- Ensure secure handling of confidential client and firm data.
Helpdesk & User Support:
- Provide first-line support for staff on email, login, printing, and software issues.
- Set up systems for onboarding and offboarding staff.
- IT Strategy & Improvement
- Recommend upgrades, automation tools, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
IT Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
- Advise management on IT improvements and upgrades
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Support the firm’s digital transformation initiatives
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Graphics & Digital:
- Quality and timeliness of design deliverables.
- Brand consistency across all materials.
- Engagement levels on digital content.
- Quality of presentations and client-facing materials.
- System uptime and reliability.
- Response/resolution time for IT issues.
- User satisfaction levels.
- Security incident prevention and response.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in IT support, graphics design, or digital communications.
- Strong proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
- Networking fundamentals
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is an added advantage.
- Basic video editing or motion graphics skills is an advantage.
