We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Investment Recovery Analyst

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Purpose of Investment Recovery Services is to ensure Value Recovery from Surplus inventory by disposing or repurposing surplus or idle inventory such as equipment, spare parts no longer needed to reduce storage cost and generate income for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for identifying, managing, and disposing of surplus or obsolete assets to recover value for the organization.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to improve recovery rates.
  • Works with asset owners to identify surplus, obsolete, or idle assets across Renaissance departments, warehouses and storage locations.
  • Track and report financial recovery from disposed assets.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams.
  • Develops and implements strategies for asset disposals (e.g., resale, recycling, donation, or scrapping).
  • Maintain accurate records of asset disposition activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.
  • Assess the condition and market value of assets for potential recovery.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, auctioneers, or recyclers.

Qualifications / Experience

  • 5–7 years in asset management, supply chain, or financial analysis roles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and asset tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in asset management or supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to assess asset value and recovery potential.
  • Proficiency in systems like SAP.
  • Understanding of depreciation, asset valuation, and cost recovery.
  • Accurate documentation and compliance with audit standards.
  • Capable of managing multiple recovery projects simultaneously.
  • Skilled in Excel and data analysis tools.
