We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Functional Manual Tester (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist , Consultant)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to resolve issues
• Develop performance testing scripts and scenarios
• Maintain testing documentation and reports.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and performance issues
• Monitor application response times and system stability
• Produce performance reports and optimization recommendations
• Support release readiness and non-functional testing activities
• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage
• Experience validating systems against non-functional requirements
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, and operational performance concepts
• Understanding of scalability, security, reliability, and performance considerations
• Ability to produce test reports and performance analysis documentation
• Familiarity with testing tools, monitoring tools, and enterprise systems
• Understanding of logging and monitoring requirements
• Awareness of secure testing and operational practices
• 4–15+ years of relevant professional experience depending on role level (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant)
• Experience designing and executing performance testing scenarios
• Familiarity with deployment and testing environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent)
• Ability to quickly understand new systems and applications
• Demonstrated experience working in enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environments
• Must have completed NYSC
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to support multiple testing cycles and projects
• Ability to follow coding and documentation standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Strong discipline in testing governance and reporting
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and delivery timelines
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise-scale IT or digital environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), and cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding of defect tracking and root cause analysis
