Job Title: Female Teacher

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head Teacher / Administrator

Job Summary

  • The successful candidates will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and supporting the holistic development of every child.
  • They are seeking passionate, creative, and dedicated Teachers to provide high-quality education and care for pupils within the age groups of 0–9 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Maintain classroom records and documentation.
  • Observe and report any concerns regarding child welfare in accordance with safeguarding policies.
  • Ensure pupils' safety and well-being at all times.
  • Prepare report cards and progress reports.
  • Assist in organizing school activities, and special events.
  • Assess and monitor pupils' academic, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and behavior.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support the emotional, social, and physical development of pupils.
  • Identify pupils requiring additional support and implement intervention strategies.
  • Establish and enforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and school management to achieve educational objectives.
  • Foster literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills development.
  • Create engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Promote inclusivity and equal learning opportunities.
  • Encourage positive behavior, respect, and teamwork among pupils.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a nursery or primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
  • Experience teaching the relevant age group is preferred.
  • TRCN certification is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in the use of educational technology and digital learning tools.
