Role Overview

• We are looking for a qualified and passionate individual to serve as a Senior Lecturer in our MSc Data Science program.
• The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a proven record of research and publication, and significant teaching experience at the postgraduate level.
• The position involves teaching, research, and service responsibilities, with a focus on contributing to the growth and development of the MSc Data Science program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting advanced courses in the MSc Data Science program.
• Providing leadership in curriculum development, ensuring relevance to industry needs.
• Contributing to the academic community through committee work, program development, and other university service activities.
• Mentoring and guiding postgraduate students in their academic and professional pursuits.
• Engaging in cutting-edge research and contributing to the university's research objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to mentor and supervise graduate students.
• An outstanding record of scholarly publications in top-tier journals and conferences in Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Analytics/Fintechs, Big Data & Products Analytics, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, Data Governance, Natural Language Processing or Forensics.
• A Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.
• Active involvement in professional organizations related to Data Science.
• Extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development at the postgraduate level.
