School Administrator

Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and highly organized School Administrator with a strong Human Resources background to oversee the daily administrative operations of the school while managing key HR functions.
• The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in school administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, student records, and school documentation.
• Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Supervise administrative and support staff to ensure operational efficiency.
• Foster effective communication between management, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and school policies.
• Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports, budgets, and administrative documentation for management.
• Coordinate staff training and professional development initiatives.
• Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• A Postgraduate Degree or Professional Certification in Educational Administration or School Leadership is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws, employee relations, and school regulatory compliance.
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM etc
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and School Management Software.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in school administration, including responsibility for HR and administrative operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
