Job Title: Nursery Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking to employ a Nursery Teacher who will work with young children, usually ages 2–5.

Main Duties

Prepare learning materials and classroom displays
Encourage social interaction and good behavior
Communicate with parents about children’s development
Help children develop basic literacy and numeracy skills
Ensure children’s safety, health, and hygiene
Observe and monitor children’s progress
Organize play, storytelling, music, and creative activities
Plan and teach simple lessons and activities

Qualifications

NCE, Diploma, or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 2-3 years experience
Teaching license/certification may be required depending on the school or country

Skills and Qualities:

Ability to manage young children
Patience and kindness
Understanding of child development
Creativity and energy
Good communication skills
