Role summary

  • The Community Manager will grow and engage community across digital platforms and physical experiences. The objective is to turn customers, supporters and followers into an active community connected to the brand, its products and its cultural mission.

Key Responsibilities


  • Engage and grow online community.
  • Encourage meaningful participation and maintain active community conversations.
  • Plan and support physical community events, activations and store experiences.
  • Build relationships with customers, creatives, collaborators and supporters.
  • Develop community-focused content and engagement initiatives.
  • Collect feedback and insights from the community.
  • Maintain an organised database of active community members.
  • Support retention, advocacy and referral initiatives.
  • Work with marketing, sales and retail teams on community-led campaigns.
  • Be physically present at events, stores and community activities when required.
  • Report on community growth, engagement and participation.

  • Community growth, engagement and active participation.
  • Attendance and quality of physical events.
  • Retention, advocacy and referral activity.
  • Quality of community database and reporting.
  • Feedback generated and translated into useful insight.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Genuine interest in African culture, fashion, creativity and community building.
  • Comfortable engaging people online and in person.
  • Energetic, organised and socially confident.
  • Able to plan and coordinate events.
  • Prior community, social-media, events or customer-engagement experience is beneficial.

Salary
N400,000 monthly.
