Job Description

• We are currently hiring for one of our clients in the Freight forwarding, shipping, port services Industry, an experienced and proactive Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business by identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and promoting Freight Ns logistice services.

Key Responsibilities

• Showcase the company's portfolio of solutions and services to prospective clients through presentations, demonstrations, and other sales activities.
• Gather feedback from clients and prospects to identify areas for improvement and inform product development and marketing strategies.
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their business needs and objectives..
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
• Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
• Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target industries.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings and demonstrate how they can address client needs and deliver tangible benefits.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize sales opportunities and revenue generation.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
• Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to develop tailored proposals and solutions for clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the sales process.

Qualifications / Skills required to fill this role

• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-3 years experience as Business Development Executive
• Experience working with government stakeholders is an added advantage.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is a plus.
