We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • You are also expected to develop and maintain systems to collect and analyse information on outputs, inputs, outcomes and imparts of the program, conduct supportive supervisory visits to sub-grantees to observe, monitor, provide guidance and quality feedback on the use of data and indicators, and analyses data and support training of data assistants in quality assurance methods.
  • You are to lead the development of and manage the project’s performance monitoring plan.
  • As the Project, Monitoring and Evaluation officer, you are responsible for all monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities under the IHVN ASPIRE-OVC project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Harmonise Data with other program area (data review).
  • Provide supportive supervision/monitoring to community volunteers.
  • Respond to Data Request.
  • Collect and collate reports from field sites.
  • Manage Data base, NOMIS entry, data validation, data base backup, data base update, NOMIS monthly summary and data export.
  • Support the ASPIRE project, M&E activities in target communities.
  • Develop the Project M&E plan.
  • Collate data from community improvement team.
  • Manage OVC Data Management-documentation, filing, updates of registers, tool inventory and data verification.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to funders.

Required Core Skills

  • Demonstrated Strong analytical, managerial, leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated Experience and knowledge in establishing systems and overseeing program start-up under limited time constraints as well as program close-out.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Highly developed computer skills with strong familiarity with MS Excel & Word are mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral ability to relate sensitively to diverse groups.
  • Experience in training, capacity building of partners and team members.
