Job Position: Policy Analyst

Description
- If you’re passionate about how laws, tech, and economic development intersect, we have an exciting opening! We’re hiring a Policy Analyst to drive research, lead policy dialogues, and coordinate transformative programs across the tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct policy research and regulatory analysis on digital economy, technology
- governance, AI, data protection, cybersecurity, fintech, digital public infrastructure, and related issues.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across Nigeria and other African jurisdictions.
- Prepare policy briefs, research reports, regulatory updates, concept notes, presentations, and advisory memoranda.
- Contribute to the organization’s thought leadership through articles, newsletters, publications, and knowledge products.
- Collect, analyse, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to support evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Support proposal development, business development initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
- Support the implementation and delivery of policy, advocacy and advisory projects.
- Assist in stakeholder mapping, consultations, workshops, roundtables, and public engagements.
- Assist in project coordination, documentation, and reporting.
- Perform other policy, research, and program-related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, International Development, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in policy research, legal research, public policy, regulation, consulting, or development work.
- Strong interest in digital policy, technology governance, innovation, or regulatory issues.
- Excellent research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and practical policy recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with government, development partners, academia, or the private sector is an advantage.
