The channel serves audiences across the continent with market insights, expert analysis, and educational content for industry stakeholders and consumers. Broadcasting on StarTimes Channel 149, Housing TV Africa aims to make housing information more accessible and understandable. The organization values innovation, accurate reporting, and engaging storytelling to highlight developments in the housing and real estate sectors.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Television Presenter

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

  • The Television Presenter will deliver live and recorded programs, news segments, and interviews related to housing, real estate, mortgages, property, and construction.
  • Day-to-day tasks include preparing scripts, conducting research on housing sector topics, interviewing guests, moderating panel discussions, and presenting stories in a clear, engaging manner.
  • The presenter will collaborate closely with producers, reporters, and technical crews to refine program content, adhere to broadcast schedules, and maintain high editorial standards. Responsibilities also include participating in promotional activities, engaging with audiences, and representing the channel at relevant industry events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja.

Qualifications

  • Proven on-camera presence, professional demeanor, and ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Must reside in abuja.
  • Strong presenting skills with experience as a Presenter or host in television or related media.
  • Excellent Communication and Writing abilities for scripting, interviewing, and on-air delivery.
  • Strong research skills, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical and editorial guidelines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with production and editorial teams
  • Comfort and credibility when discussing housing, real estate, mortgages, property, or construction topics.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by programming needs.
  • Practical knowledge of Broadcasting and Television operations, including live studio environments.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years job experiences
