Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (Call Center)

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

?Job Summary

  • ?We are seeking a customer-focused and technically savvy Technical Support Specialist to join our Call Center team.
  • You will diagnose problems, guide customers through troubleshooting steps over the phone, and ensure a seamless after-sales service experience.
  • In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues with their home appliances.

?Key Responsibilities

  • ?Data Logging: Accurately document all customer interactions, product issues, and resolutions within our CRM or ticketing system.
  • ?Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product specifications, common technical faults, and repair procedures for all company appliance models.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provide clear, step-by-step technical assistance to customers via phone calls and digital channels regarding home appliances (specifically TVs, fans, blenders, etc.).
  • Customer Care: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
  • ?Issue Resolution: Diagnose product malfunctions, determine warranty eligibility, and provide accurate solutions or escalate complex hardware issues to the technical field team.

?Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role, call center, or after-sales department.
  • ?Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred but practical knowledge is prioritized).
  • ?Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple, non-technical terms.
  • Product Knowledge (Mandatory): Strong practical knowledge of Home Appliances (Smart/LED TVs, electric fans, blenders, and other kitchen/household electronics).
  • ?Proximity: Crucial. Candidates must reside within close proximity to [Insert Office Location/Neighborhood] to ensure punctual attendance and ease of commuting.
  • ?Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, patience, and proficiency in using basic CRM or call center software.
