We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tax Associate

Location: Sabo, Yaba – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented Tax Associate with hands-on experience in tax compliance and advisory.
  • The successful candidate will manage tax filings, ensure regulatory compliance, and support client engagements within a structured professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file tax returns including CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities (FIRS, LIRS, etc.)
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory services
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
  • Monitor deadlines to avoid penalties
  • Respond to client inquiries professionally.
  • Review financial records to ensure tax accuracy and compliance
  • Support tax audits, investigations, and reconciliations
  • Conduct tax research and provide compliance recommendations

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in an audit/tax/accounting firm (MANDATORY)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting/tax tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and filing processes
  • ICAN/ACCA (or in view strongly preferred)

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 monthly.
