Job Title: Senior Sales Specialist

Locations: Ekiti and Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and expand market presence across Kwara and Ekiti States.
  • The ideal candidate will develop distributor and dealer networks, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets while promoting Itel Energy's renewable energy solutions.
  • Candidates with experience in renewable energy are preferred; however, strong sales experience in electronics, electrical products, consumer durables, or FMCG will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key customers.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer training where required.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across assigned channels.
  • Drive sales of Itel Energy products within the assigned territory.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in renewable energy is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.
  • 3–5 years' sales experience.
  • Candidates with strong experience in consumer electronics, electrical products, telecommunications, consumer durables, or FMCG are also encouraged to apply.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
