Job Title: City Growth Manager

Role Overview

  • The ideal candidate has experience scaling products, marketplaces, mobility platforms, fintech products, or high-growth consumer businesses in emerging markets.
  • The Growth Lead will own the design and execution of scalable growth strategies across acquisition, activation, retention, partnerships, and revenue optimization.
  • This role requires a strategic operator who combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution:

  • Identify new growth opportunities across customer segments, products, and markets.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company revenue and expansion goals.
  • Build scalable acquisition and retention frameworks.
  • Drive consistent lead generation across multiple channels including offline activations, referrals, partnerships, and other acquisition channels

Customer Acquisition & Retention:

  • Optimize onboarding funnels and activation journeys.
  • Drive customer acquisition across digital, offline, referral, and partnership channels.
  • Develop and monitor customer segmentation strategies.
  • Improve customer engagement, retention, and lifecycle performance.

Data & Performance Analytics:

  • Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Own growth metrics including CAC, LTV, retention, conversion rates, activation, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and performance reporting systems.

Partnerships & Market Expansion:

  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate growth.
  • Support launch and expansion initiatives into new cities or verticals.
  • Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to improve market penetration.

Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Provide customer and market insights to influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure alignment between growth initiatives and operational capabilities.

Team Leadership:

  • Build a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to FSAs and PCAs to improve productivity and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven track record of scaling products, customer acquisition, or revenue growth.
  • 2–5 years experience in Growth, Strategy, Marketing, Commercial Operations, or Business Development roles.
  • MBA or relevant certifications is an advantage.
  • Experience working with performance marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Experience in startups, mobility, fintech, logistics, marketplaces, or tech-enabled businesses is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong execution discipline with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
