Job Position: Customer Service Executive
Job Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

Job Summary


  • In Nigeria’s growing renewable energy sector, a Customer Service Executive for a solar battery and inverter company acts as a critical link between technical sales and long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding promptly to inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email regarding solar inverter and battery issues from customers.
  • Coordinating Engineers (After Sales) to resolve customers’ technical issues promptly.
  • Managing customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry into systems, and coordinating with logistics teams for timely delivery.
  • Providing basic troubleshooting for systems (e.g., explaining inverter codes or battery discharge rates) and escalating complex technical issues to engineers.
  • Investigating and resolving complaints related to equipment performance, billing discrepancies, or supply delays professionally.
  • Identifying opportunities to recommend battery upgrades or higher-capacity inverters to existing clients during support interactions.
  • Proactively following up with customers post-installation to gather feedback and ensure system performance.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all interactions and support tickets

Education

  • BSc in Business Admnistration, Communications, or Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in customer service, preferably within the renewable energy or technology sectors

Skills:

  • Familiarity with solar industry terminology, including lithium battery lifecycles and inverter load capacities.
  • High empathy, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to simplify technical information for non-technical customers.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages like Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo is often required for broader market reach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
