The University, with 3 campuses and 6 Faculties located at Umunya, Iyi-Enu and Onitsha, has an enrollment of about 1000 degree candidates, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Surgical Specialties)

Location: Umunya, Anambra
Faculty: Clinical Medicine

Qualifications

• In addition to the MBBS Degree, the candidate shall possess the Fellowship qualifications of the National Postgraduate Medical College and / or West African Postgraduate Medical College in the specialty stated.
• Candidates found appointable shall also perform clinical duties at the university's teaching hospital facility.
• Candidates must possess good B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degree from a recognised university, with membership of a reputable professional body.
• Other additional relevant qualifications will be an added advantage, as well as evidence of scholarly publications.
• At least 7 years of teaching and research experience in an approved tertiary body, a good record of scholarly publications in reputable journals, evidence of research supervision ability and capacity for academic leadership.
