We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Programs & Partnerships Manager

Location: Lagos (with travel as required)

Reports To: CEO / Chief Transformation Officer

Job Purpose

  • The Programs & Partnerships Manager will lead strategic partnerships, institutional engagement, and large-scale program implementation. This role is responsible for:
    • Managing government and NGO relationships
    • Strengthening school partnerships
    • Leading educational events and activations
    • Driving grant-funded and sponsored programs
    • Ensuring external collaborations align with strategic growth objectives
  • This is a high-impact external-facing leadership role combining stakeholder management, program execution, and institutional expansion.

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify and secure partnerships with:
    • Government ministries (Education, ICT, Youth Development)
    • NGOs and development agencies
    • Corporate sponsors and CSR arms
    • Educational associations
    • Develop proposals, concept notes, and partnership frameworks.
    • Lead negotiation and formalization of MOUs and agreements.
    • Align partnerships with Company’s strategic growth and impact goals.

Government & NGO Engagement:

  • Serve as primary liaison between companys and public sector stakeholders.
  • Position the Academy as a preferred digital literacy partner.
  • Manage grant-funded programs and compliance reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments affecting digital education.

School Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with partner schools.
  • Conduct periodic stakeholder review meetings with school leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion within existing schools.
  • Ensure schools remain engaged, satisfied, and retained.

Program & Event Management

  • Plan and execute:
    • School digital literacy rollouts
    • Tech bootcamps
    • Hackathons
    • Open days
    • Government or NGO-sponsored programs
    • Develop event plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation frameworks.
    • Oversee logistics coordination and post-event impact reporting.

Grant & Sponsored Program Oversight:

  • Develop funding proposals and pitch decks.
  • Track deliverables and reporting requirements for funded programs.
  • Ensure compliance with partner expectations.
  • Measure program impact and outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication & Representation:

  • Represent Company’s Academy at conferences, education forums, and community engagements.
  • Deliver presentations to institutional stakeholders.
  • Build brand credibility within the education ecosystem.

Reporting & Impact Measurement:

  • Develop partnership performance dashboards.

Track:

  • Number of institutional partnerships
  • Event impact metrics
  • School retention rates
  • Grant performance compliance
  • Present quarterly impact and growth reports to leadership.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new government/NGO partnerships secured
  • School retention & expansion rate
  • Revenue or funding generated through partnerships
  • Successful execution of major programs/events
  • Partner satisfaction rating
  • Grant compliance & reporting accuracy

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field
  • 5–8+ year’s experience in partnerships, program management, or institutional engagement
  • Experience working with schools, NGOs, or government agencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder events or programs

Preferred:

  • Experience in EdTech or youth development initiatives
  • Experience writing grant proposals
  • Strong project management background
  • Familiarity with education sector regulations in Nigeria

Scope of Authority:

  • The Programs & Partnerships Manager has authority over:
  • Partnership negotiation processes
  • Event and program budgets (within approved limits)
  • Stakeholder engagement strategy
  • MOU and agreement drafting (in coordination with leadership)
