Role Summary

  • The Operations & Growth Manager is responsible for the dual mission of ensuring flawless daily production and aggressively driving revenue growth
  • You will lead our team of bakers and decorators while actively expanding our corporate and event catering portfolio Your goal is to maximise efficiency minimise errors and exceed monthly revenue targets

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Excellence:

  • Oversee daily production of cakes desserts and catering orders to ensure every item meets our premium quality standards
  • Coordinate production schedules decorating timelines and delivery logistics to ensure 100% on-time fulfilment
  • Manage inventory levels and production planning to prevent stockouts or excessive waste
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the kitchen to improve daily output

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Take ownership of monthly revenue targets and implement strategies to exceed them
  • Actively source and secure dessert catering contracts for corporate clients and large-scale social events
  • Follow up on all inquiries with speed and professional flair to convert leads into high-value sales
  • Identify upselling opportunities such as premium packaging add-ons and recurring corporate subscriptions

Customer Experience & Logistics:

  • Manage the order journey from the initial inquiry through to the final delivery
  • Handle customer escalations professionally turning challenges into opportunities for brand loyalty
  • Ensure the delivery team maintains the integrity of the products during transit

Team Leadership & Accountability:

  • Supervise bakers decorators and support staff to ensure daily tasks are completed with discipline
  • Enforce brand standards regarding hygiene punctuality and work ethic
  • Mentor and train team members to improve their productivity and technical skills

Reporting & CRM Management:

  • Maintain meticulous records in Zoho CRM tracking leads customer interactions and sales data
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the CEO highlighting progress against revenue and operational KPIs

Key Performance Indicators KPIs

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Order fulfilment rate and on-time delivery percentage
  • Reduction in waste and production errors
  • Growth percentage in corporate and event catering revenue
  • New client acquisition rate specifically B2B Corporate

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations sales or business management Experience in the food hospitality or bakery industry is a significant advantage
  • Tech Skills Proficiency in CRM tools Zoho preferred and professional digital communication
  • Attributes Proactive hands-on and capable of thinking like a business owner.
  • Leadership Proven ability to manage a diverse team and hold people accountable
  • Growth Mindset A track record of driving revenue growth not just managing existing processes

Salary
N270,000 per month.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary N270,000 Gross Monthly
  • Transport Allowance N10,000 Weekly
  • Uncapped commission on dessert catering sales
