Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery operations of GravyEat and GravyMart, ensuring timely, efficient, and seamless delivery services for our users.
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Abuja team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of rider activities, delivery reports, and incident logs for management review.
  • Must be physically capable of riding a 2000CC bike and have practical experience in bike delivery operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Gravy riders, addressing their concerns and providing real-time support.
  • Must possess a valid Rider Card (bike riding license) and ensure all riders comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to any emergency or delayed delivery issues in real time, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Onboard new riders to the Gravy Rider app across Abuja.
  • Monitor rider performance and ensure adherence to delivery timelines and safety protocols.
  • Rally all riders and educate them on how to use the Gravy Rider app effectively.
  • Coordinate and implement a fast delivery strategy to ensure orders are delivered to Gravy users promptly.
  • Must be well known by most riders in Abuja and maintain active membership in their association.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using logistics and delivery management apps/software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage riders effectively.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in fintech, microfinance bank (MFB), Dispatch Riding, or Mart Items door to door delivery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Abuja road networks and delivery routes.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND or OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be proactive, result-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick decisions under pressure.
