First Independent Power Limited (FIPL) is a Power Generation company located in Rivers state with 4 simple gas turbine power plants with a total capacity of 541MW. Following the nation’s privatization exercise, Sahara, through its power division, Sahara Power Group and sundry affiliations, acquired FIPL.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Description

Improve MTBF, reduce MTTR, and optimize equipment lifecycle cost. Maintain records, check spares, and ensure safety and OEM compliance.
Maintain pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, diesel engines, and rotating equipment.
Execute routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and safe operation of mechanical equipment and systems in the power plant.
Troubleshoot faults and carry out root cause analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3-5 years experience | COREN is an advantage.
