We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Assistant (Grain)

Job Location: Apapa, Lagos State

Purpose

• Support logistics and dispatch operations by coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in compliance with company policies and procedures

The Job?

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders on delivery status while resolving delays where necessary.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including invoices, shipping records, and inventory reports.
• Liaise with transporters, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in logistics operations.
• Support the logistics team in resolving transportation issues and optimizing delivery routes.
• Verify shipment details and reconcile discrepancies with suppliers and transporters.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of logistics records and reports.
• Assist in preparing logistics performance reports on efficiency, costs, and operational improvements.

The Person Must?

• Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Possess good problem-solving ability to address logistics and transportation challenges.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Have strong attention to detail in managing logistics documentation.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification

• Minimum of OND in a related field.

Experience:?

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in internal control, audit, compliance, or risk management, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
