Job Summary

  • The candidate would also be responsible for driving the bank business budget. The candidate must have acumen for strategy formulation and implementation, with proven experience of growing a business to scale.
  • This position will be responsible for scaling our retail and corporate B2C and B2B products/services as well as provide market insight for the development of new banking products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy for partnerships with organizations and agencies that ensure the optimum usage of the bank services.
  • Commercialize the bank products and services with the aim of creating awareness and usage of the product.
  • Strong risk asset creation network with focus on SME segment (Structured and unstructured).
  • Perform other task as delegated by the MD.
  • Responsible for CASA and Term deposit mobilization and market rate.
  • Focus on Scaling the bank retail and corporate business (Payroll lending, Purchase Order Financing, Asset Finance, Payment &Collection solutions, B2B & B2C, Digital App usage) to ensure the bank gets return on investment.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market and work with the team to create a marketfit product.
  • Identify new partnership segment and new products that help scale the bank services
  • Represent the MD at strategic and marketing calls.
  • Organize/attend event to showcase the bank product and services
  • Deepen relationships with existing partnerships and identify new opportunities for engagement and supporting partner needs.
  • Position the bank among the top 20 MFB in the industry.
  • Develop financial projection model for each product and work with the various Business team to achieve the budget for each product and services.
  • Responsible for the attainment of the bank business and profitability budget.

Qualification and Experience

  • 10 -15 years’ experience in roles that include: Sales, Business Development, Growth and Partnership management, Strategy, Relationship Management, Portfolio Management, Go-to-market.
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Market research, strategy and business reporting
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience preparing executive/board- level reports.
  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree

Salary
N1,200,000 - N1,500,000 monthly (net).
