About the Role

• Nairametricsis looking to hire a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and drive the company’s revenue growth.
• This role combines both strategy and execution and is suited for someone who is comfortable building relationships, closing deals, andimprovinghow the company positions andsellsits services.
• The ideal candidate will take ownership of sales performance while also overseeing marketing efforts that support client acquisition and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth acrossNairametrics’ commercial offerings including sponsored content, corporate partnerships, events, and reports.
• Identifyand engage potential clients, pitch the company’s products, and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upsell opportunities.
• Oversee marketing activities across digital channels, campaigns, and events to attract andretainclients.
• Work with internal teams to ensure products and offerings are clearly positioned and meet market needs.
• Lead and support the sales team by setting targets, tracking performance, and ensuring consistent delivery on revenue goals.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles.
• Proven ability to generate revenue, close deals, and manage client relationships.
• Experience in media, fintech, financial services, or a related industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
