Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Ojota / Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
- Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to support organizational goals
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal financial policies
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk effectively
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure proper financial controls and governance frameworks are in place
- Support business decision-making with data-driven financial insights
- Oversee claims cost analysis, capitation, and provider payments within the health insurance framework
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and the Board
- Drive cost optimization and revenue enhancement initiatives
- Supervise and develop the finance team to ensure high performance
Requirements & Qualifications
- ICAN certification is mandatory
- Minimum of a postgraduate Degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or related field)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- 8–10 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in the health insurance/HMO sector is required

Salary
N800,000 - N900,000 / month.
