Job Title: Finance Officer (Corper or Fresh Graduate)

Location: Ogudu / Ojota - Lagos

Description

  • A Finance Officer is responsible for managing an organization's financial activities and ensuring proper financial control.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor budget performance and recommend adjustments.
  • Monitor and collect outstanding receivables.
  • Present financial information to management for decision-making.
  • Cash Flow Management Monitor cash inflows and outflows.
  • Provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with banks, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure timely remittance of taxes, pensions, and other deductions.
  • Internal Controls and Audits Implement financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
  • Ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
  • Compliance and Tax Management
  • Financial Analysis Analyze financial data and trends.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment issues.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and statutory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Process payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Payroll Administration Process employee salaries and statutory deductions.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
