Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Rotary Filling Machine

Location: Lagos

Your opportunity

To Performs Installation, startup until commissioning of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites all over the world.
Sidel is looking for a self-motivated Field Service Engineer (FSE) specializing in High-Speed PET rotary filling machine technology.

Your Mission

To Perform Installation, start?up until commissioning of the Sidel Equipment supplied to customer sites; Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of Sidel’s equipment installed at customer sites.
Finally, a good understanding of the customer needs is to be developed to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Installation, Qualification & Testing and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities.
Execute electrical work (e.g., cable wiring)
Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
Coach junior colleagues on the on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.
Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan and customer rules.
Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site.
Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
Operate on Mechanical systems, HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures.

Your Profile

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field services - High speed rotary Filling machine (PET / GLASS / CAN).
Graduate of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
English fluent, written and spoken. Good reporting.
Knowledgeable with the PLC, diagnosing and resolving both hardware and software-related problems (Siemens / B&R / ELAU) is plus.
Experience in the capper , crowner and seamer is Plus.
Able to travel up to 90% including domestic and international.
