We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Cook

Location: Sabo Yaba, Lagos

Job Summary

  • This role is essential for providing a memorable dining experience for our guests.
  • We are looking for a reliable and skilled Cook to join our hotel’s kitchen team.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes meet the hotel’s standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the Supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Planning daily menus and specials.
  • Minimize food wastage and assist with inventory control.
  • Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for consistent presentation.
  • Assist with catering for events, and room service as required.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards in handling, storing, and preparing food.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the hotel’s menu and recipes.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an SSCE, OND, HND qualification.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / Month.
