Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and growth of Bottleking’s event operations, partnerships, activations, and event-related revenue opportunities. This role requires someone who can combine operational excellence with strong relationship management and premium brand execution.
  • Bottleking is seeking a highly organized, creative, and commercially driven Events Manager to lead and execute premium experiences that strengthen the brand’s presence within the lifestyle, hospitality, corporate, and luxury events space.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Bottleking-sponsored and partner events from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate timelines, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.
  • Manage logistics for bars, beverage service, rentals, staffing, branding, and event setup.
  • Ensure smooth onsite execution and premium customer experience at all events.

Business Development & Partnerships:

  • Identify opportunities to grow Bottleking Events as a revenue-generating business unit.
  • Source and secure event partnership opportunities aligned with Bottleking’s brand positioning.
  • Develop event packages and proposals for prospective clients and partners.
  • Build relationships with event planners, hotels, lounges, restaurants, corporate organizations, and lifestyle brands.

Brand Experience & Marketing:

  • Ensure all events reflect Bottleking’s premium and luxury brand identity.
  • Work closely with the marketing/content team to develop event campaigns, event coverage, and promotional materials.
  • Support social media and digital content capture during events.
  • Coordinate branded assets including bars, menus, glasses, signage, and merchandise.

Operations & Team Management:

  • Prepare post-event reports covering performance, feedback, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate event staff, bartenders, vendors, and support personnel.
  • Monitor budgets, event expenses, and profitability.
  • Maintain event inventory and ensure proper handling of event equipment and products.

KPIs / Success Metrics

  • Brand visibility and event engagement.
  • Operational efficiency and budget management.
  • Number of successful event executions.
  • Event-generated revenue and partnerships secured.
  • Customer/client satisfaction levels.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years experience in event management, hospitality, lifestyle marketing, or brand activations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Experience working with luxury, hospitality, beverage, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and premium aesthetic sense.

Preferred Qualities

  • Strong network within Lagos hospitality and events ecosystem.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends when required.
  • Creative thinker with strong execution ability.
  • Highly proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Professional, energetic, and customer-focused.
