Job Title: Corporate Sales Executive

Job Description

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through dealer channels such as partners, wholesalers, distributors, and agents and ensure they are always stocked with our SKUs and continuously increase their volumes while sourcing for more.
  • We are currently seeking a Channel Sales Executive to join our Lagos and Port Harcourt team.
  • This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in solar solutions.
  • We are a reputable OEM offering diversified product and services lineup within the renewable energy industry and continuously evolving to meet the changing demands in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and estimates for proposed solutions.
  • Revive relationships with old customers and boost their sales and patronage
  • Participating in sales team meetings remotely and physically.
  • Deliver effective presentations on products and services to clients.
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with existing distributors that bring in the most income for the company.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing ensuring customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly report of your territory and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and understand customer needs.
  • Follow up on complaints and queries on behalf of distributors.
  • Conduct site surveys and pre-installation site preparations.
  • Building and maintaining a CRM database.
  • Prospect and secure new Distributors and sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other channels.
  • Prepare frequent reviews and sales forecasts.
  • Ensure availability of stock for sales based on demand forecasts.
  • Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns they might have

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in this role.
  • HND / B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and / or Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or any similar background.
  • Basic experience or understanding of solar products and solutions.
  • Must have an existing database of re-sellers in the renewable energy business.
  • Must have a prior experience managing Channels Sales preferably in the renewable energy industry.
