Job Title: Content Creator (Photographer & Videographer)

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

  • Our Partner is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator (Photographer & Videographer) to visually document the journey of a flagship cultural event from planning through execution.
  • The successful candidate will capture compelling stories through photography and videography, producing engaging content that builds excitement, showcases the richness of Nigerian culture, highlights sponsor visibility, and creates lasting digital assets for future campaigns.
  • This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who thrives in dynamic environments and can independently plan, capture, edit, and deliver high-quality multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities
Content Production:

  • Produce engaging short-form content for social media platforms, including reels, stories, teasers, and promotional videos.
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content throughout the event planning phase, including stakeholder meetings, vendor onboarding, rehearsals, promotional activities, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Develop visual content that tells the story of the event while building anticipation and audience engagement.

Event Coverage:

  • Work closely with the project team to ensure all important moments are documented.
  • Capture key sponsor branding, activations, and partnership visibility throughout the event.
  • Provide comprehensive photography and videography coverage during the event, documenting performances, cultural showcases, exhibitions, fashion segments, awards, food and beverage experiences, arts and crafts, youth activities, and VIP engagements.

Editing & Content Management:

  • Produce a post-event highlight video and curated photo gallery for marketing, reporting, and future sponsorship opportunities.
  • Edit photographs and videos into polished, high-quality content suitable for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, and partner communications.
  • Organise and maintain a structured library of raw and edited content accessible to the wider project team.

Collaboration:

  • Support content planning meetings and contribute creative ideas for storytelling and campaign execution.
  • Work with the Marketing & Partnerships team to ensure sponsor obligations and branding commitments are properly captured.
  • Deliver content in line with agreed timelines and the project content calendar.

Requirements

  • Owns or has reliable access to professional photography and videography equipment, including camera(s), lenses, stabilisation equipment, and basic lighting.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced event environments.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating event, cultural, fashion, lifestyle, or brand content.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and social media content creation.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proven experience as a photographer, videographer, or multimedia content creator.

Salary
N100,000 - N130,000 per month.
