Green Harvest Recruitment - Our client, a leading Agro-FMCG company, is expanding its operations across the South-West region and is seeking Qualified professionals for both white-collar and blue-collar roles. The company is involved in the cultivation, harvesting, processing, and production of high-quality agricultural products, driven by a commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, innovation, and value creation within Nigeria's agricultural sector and food value chain.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Auto Mechanic

Locations: Okitipupa, Ore, Akure - Ondo, Ado Ekiti - Ekiti, Abeokuta - Ogun, Ibadan - Oyo, Edo and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair Toyota Hilux vehicles.
  • Replace defective vehicle parts and ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Repair and maintain vehicle engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical components.
  • Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor or Management.
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance and vehicle servicing.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of engine overhaul, brake systems, suspension, steering, transmission, electrical systems, and replacement of vehicle parts.
  • Honest, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Minimum of 5years' hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Toyota Hilux vehicles.
  • Physically fit and willing to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced environment and committed to operational excellence.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
  • Minimum of OND, NCE, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Technology, or any related discipline..
  • Must be willing to relocate to any of the South Western States.
