Steel Mill Worker

Location: Ewekoro, Abeokuta - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Quality initial inspection and feedback; visual inspection of steel plate surface defects ( such as cracks, scratches, and oxidized iron skin pressing in) plate shape and size overview and abnormal conditions are immediately stopped, feedback and recorded
• -Safety and inspection; carry out the safety regulations of the post ( to prevent burns from high temperature and mechanical entanglement), carry out the equipment inspection before the shift ( the rotation of the roller, lubrication and the condition of the guide rail), and record the handover of the shift..
• Cooperate with the main operator to monitor the rolling process, operate the guide , handle the deviation/ pile steel accident, assist in measuring the plate shape and size, execute the roll change assistance and on-site safety confirmation
• Auxillary operation execution ; Operate with the operation of the head and tail cutting machine , flying cutting machine , the cold bed feeding roller conveyor, the steel turning machine, to complete the steel plate cutting, turning and transportaion to the cold bed/ collection area.

Requirement

• Prior Working Experience in The Steel Industry is an added Advantage.
