The Young Talent Program Direct Sales is designed to develop ambitious and high-potential graduates into successful sales professionals within the financial services industry. Participants will receive structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience in customer acquisition, relationship management, and sales execution while contributing to the organization's growth by promoting financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities


  • Participate in structured onboarding, classroom training, and on-the-job learning activities.
  • Prospect and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals, networking, and marketing campaigns.
  • Promote and sell the organization's financial products and services, including savings accounts, loans, digital banking solutions, and other retail financial products.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • Generate quality leads and convert prospects into active customers.
  • Meet assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Assist customers with account opening, product enrollment, and documentation.
  • Ensure customer records and documentation are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in product activations, roadshows, and promotional events.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM or internal reporting systems.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage product usage.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within assigned territories.
  • Adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Team Lead or Sales Manager.

  • Achievement of monthly sales targets.

  • Account opening and product activation rate.

  • Quality and accuracy of customer documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, or any related discipline.
  • NYSC completed or exemption certificate (where applicable).
  • 0–2 years of work experience.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is an added advantage but not required.
