Job Title: Telesales Representative

Location: Okota, Isolo, Lagos (On-site)

Reports to: Team lead/Supervisor

Job Summary

  • This role requires excellent communication skills, persuasive ability, and a strong customer service orientation to achieve set sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • The Telesales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products over the phone, managing customer inquiries, and closing sales orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on leads and maintain active communication with customers to close sales.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
  • Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about products, promotions, and offers.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Accurately record customer information and order details in the CRM system.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Provide feedback from customers to the sales and marketing teams for product improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales conversion rate
  • Number of calls made per day/week
  • Revenue generated
  • Customer retention and repeat purchase rate
  • Accuracy of order processing

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service (preferably in FMCG, retail, or cosmetics).
  • Strong persuasive ability and confidence in closing sales.
  • Minimum of OND / NCE; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or call management software.
  • Applicant must reside within and around Okota/Isolo.
  • A positive attitude and resilience in handling rejection.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.

Salary
M150,000 / month.
